Alexandra Riba is a photographer/cinematographer born (1997) in Thessaloniki, Greece. She is a graduate of the “School of Film Studies at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki”. As a cinematographer, she has worked with director Nikos Kolioukos in the short film “The chaos she left behind” Festival de Cannes 2024 Official Selection LA CINEF and, with Syllas Tzoumerkas in the short film “My mother is a saint” Locarno IFF Official Selection 2023 - Pardi di Domani. She has studied contemporary photography in “Stereosis school of photography”. Her first individual exhibition “Between Cities and Skies” is a part of the Thessaloniki PhotoBiennale 2023. She has also exhibited her photographs in important art spaces in Greece and abroad such as Teloglion Fine Arts Foundation, The Benaki Museum and Loosen art, Rome. In theatre she has worked in productions at Athens Epidaurus Festival, Onassis Stegi Foundation, National Theatre of Northern Greece.
